[摘要] :
本研究透過可縮放字體的行動閱讀器 (mobile readers)，探討螢幕特性對於年長者閱讀舒適性影響。本研究顯示，就閱讀舒適度而言，螢幕尺寸與精細度是最主要的控制因子，螢幕尺寸10吋，精細度150 PPI之行動閱讀器，除可提供年長者較大的可讀區域，在相對高的精細度下亦不會造成字體過小，其螢幕尺寸其與實體紙張A5規格相近，對於以常見辦公室A4版面製作的文件，可兼顧字體大小、閱讀流暢感，提供年長者舒適的閱讀體驗。
